Application:Sodium trifluoromethanesulfonate is used in the preparation of N-fluoro-2-methylpyridinium triflate by reaction with dinitrogen difluoride as a reagent. It is also used as a chaotropic mobile phase additive in reversed-phase liquid chromatography (RP-LC).
