Application	7-Chloroquinaldine is used as the starting material in the synthesis of (E)-1-[3-[2-(7-Chloro-2-quinolinyl)ethenyl]phenyl]-2-propen-1-ol (C381415); an intermediate in the synthesis of the antiasthmatic, Montelukast Sodium Salt (M568000).
