Application: Dodecyltriethoxysilane can be used in the surface treatment of calcite crystals for the determination of the effect of wettability with the incorporation of nanoparticles. It may be electrodeposited with tetraethoxysilane, which can be used as an anti-corrosive coating on mild steel.
